Player evaluations are a crucial part of maintaining fun and competitive recreational baseball and softball leagues. All registered players are required to attend player evaluations even if they are already placed on a team (e.g., coaches’ children). These are not try outs, as all players are offered the chance to compete. They are instead an essential tool to ensure that each league is balanced in regards to players’ skill levels.
Players will need to wear athletic clothes and bring a baseball glove. Since the evaluations will take place outside, players may want to wear their cleats.
EVALUATIONS FOR 12 AND UNDER LEAGUES WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY, APRIL 10 AT ACADEMY PARK.
- AAA – 10:00 am
- AAA – 10:45 am
- A Major – 11:30 am
- A Minor – 12:15 am
- Tee Ball – no player evaluations
- 10U – 10:00 am
- 12U – 11:00 am
- 8U 12:00 pm
RAIN DATES: In the event of bad weather on Saturday 4/10, player evaluations will take place the following afternoon, Sunday 4/11. Specific times will be communicated through email and on www.gahannasports.com.
